like a political phoenix re-emerging from its ashes...
(which is a lot more than several other notables
have or will ever get, as we well know:
Indira Gandhi, Alexandra Feodorovna,
Benazir Bhutto...
You want more names, facts... etc?
One word of wisdom: go with the others!)
First there was this show of support...
(which might have come a trifle too late)
A disappointing speech puts it all into question...
And, finally, the worst of the worst:
a putdown by the Kremlin - via Twitter!?!

(apparently) as Kremlin issues statement
condemning Yulia Tymoshenko°s
''distasteful MILF look'' (wording may have been different)
- adding that it is only ethical for MEN to use BOTOX - lol
(which is open for debate as well...
especially in Russia!
But hey - we never know: maybe Vlad Putin
did have some work done...? After all,
if the rumors are true about him being
a centuries-old vampire...
And his wife did confirm that - kind of!
But that's another story...)
Now do not get us wrong (again!) here:
we like Viktor - a hell of a lot!
Anybody who survived this many attempts on his life
- and was left scarred by them all
-especially the most insidious of them-
has got our sympathy...
and life-long support,
just like Yulia's.
But Yulia... Yulia!!!
After all that you went through...
,,,allegedly the firebranding when jailed for corruption,
a false accusation raised against you
that had many romantics comparing you
to Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots...!
All the anguish, all the turmoil in your country...
The courageous stand - the triumphant return...
Your own daughter involved, actively...
All the panache, pizzazz, flamboyance too...
You start making compromises...
Diplomatie oblige...
... to finally wind up putting up with him?!?
Sheesh... We're just not so sure it's going to pay off,
