Attic Crap = Moolah$$$
The fine folks over at Heritage Auctions could testify of it - for they have seen it all already - and I, Luminous Luciano himself, have repeated it ad nauseam over those long many years: what you view as trash now could be treasure to a great many others - if not immediately, eventually! From the famous cases of old trading cards found in a barn, to a stash of old ''comic-bookies'' worth in excess of three million dollars; from the movie posters so scarce that a single one is worth over 150,000$ (since there were only four copies remaining in existence anywhere) to mere specimen of bank notes from the dusty-old and time-honored bank of Scotland... And we won't even bother to delve into whatever possessed so many to simply throw away TONS of vinyl records - now beyond value collectors' items! (Vinyl is making a comeback on top of that, anyway!)
Of course these are all values attributed to those things by the human creature: in raw fact, those old things remain old paper upon which were printed some form of data, relevant at that time... In the case of vinyl and other estimated to be ''archaic technology'' nowadays, however, it takes that concept to another level: but if one needs special types of equipment simply to decipher their engravings, it can only add to their value overall. VCRs, record players and tape decks still exist, after all!
Let it be a reminder to you all to better assess what you are discarding: may it be in the proper recycling bin, most suitable for it, at least! For you may be trashing jewels in a rash moment of negligence - and that is too bad for all, involved or not involved yet!
So, remember folks - if you have any ''trash'' laying around your place...
